About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Help with special projects in support of HR Legal compliance processes
  • Assist with maintenance of legal databases and electronic and paper files
  • Help with I-9 tracking and storage
  • Assist with ADA and FMLA requests as needed
  • Provide prompt, quality responses to customer requests and research inquiries
  • Provide backup support on a wide variety of matters for the Director, Workforce Relations and Compliance, Compliance Manager, and Compliance Specialist

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be currently enrolled in a college or university program, or a recent graduate (within previous 12 months)
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential material
  • Demonstrated computer skills with significant experience in spreadsheet, database, presentation, word processing, and e-mail software products
  • Excellent writing, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Work well in a team environment and promote the standards and teachings of the Church in the work setting
  • Ability to analyze and document complex legal situations and effectively explain them to others
  • Demonstrated initiative to complete projects and stay on task
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and experience in research
  • Must be able to quickly learn complex processes
  • Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
  • Former work with Form I-9s highly preferred
  • Experience in a legal setting is helpful but not required; training will be provided
