About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build lasting working relationships for professional and productive interactions
  • Lead customer engagement and change readiness activities, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and adoption support
  • Partner with division leadership to track strategic priorities, monitor execution, assess customer outcomes, and recommend service-delivery improvements
  • Drive HCM adoption and optimization by promoting standard processes, eliminating local workarounds, measuring adoption and utilization, and reporting results
  • Provide timely reporting, availability, and clear expectations to customers
  • Serve as both customer advocate and HR Operations expert
  • Provide HR subject matter expertise representing the field HR experience
  • Influence HR business initiatives through collaboration with peers, leaders, and HR representatives
  • Support cross-functional projects and working groups through data gathering and synthesis for process-improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate on channel strategy for HR processes, support, and knowledge across self-service, shared services, experts, and the Service Missionary Office
  • Manage and execute strategic and operational initiatives aligned with customer requirements and HR priorities
  • Deliver training and instruction on business processes and supporting products
  • Ensure HR business processes meet team and department needs
  • Establish troubleshooting guidelines, analyze problems, recommend solutions, and advise management on process changes and product enhancements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • At least seven years of experience with HR business operations or related professional experience
  • At least four years of experience managing or executing key business processes, including working with a human capital management (HCM) system
  • Strong customer engagement skills
  • Strong partnering skills to achieve optimal solutions
  • Ability to align strategic and essential HR elements
  • Ability to synthesize data and provide clear, concise, and complete answers
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience using HCM system(s)
  • Ability to train and tutor individuals and groups
  • Focus, discipline, responsibility, and consistent high performance
  • Experience with abstract concept reasoning, problem solving, statistical compilation, and presentation skills
  • Project management and roadmap planning proficiency
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including sitting for long periods and using computer monitors/equipment
  • Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
