Learning Experience Designer, Fixed Term

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work on defined learning projects with stakeholders, project teams, and vendors
- Identify and communicate risks early
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, project teams, and vendors
- Document lessons learned and apply them to improve future work
- Apply instructional design principles to support solution design
- Recommend learning solutions aligned with stakeholder, audience, and outcome needs
- Define needs, audiences, objectives, and success criteria with stakeholders
- Guide design and development of instructional content, courses, and learning experiences
- Establish learning strategies and translate objectives into instructional approaches
- Support instructional projects from beginning to end
- Coordinate projects according to scope, schedule, objectives, and requirements
- Develop project briefs and track progress
- Define scopes, schedules, and budgets with project and product managers
- Facilitate stakeholder and vendor alignment, escalate risks, and engage resources
- Coordinate work across writing, editing, visual design, development, and other disciplines
- Provide input on vendor fit, direct vendor work, and monitor vendor performance
- Ensure deliverables are clear, aligned, effective, and audience-appropriate
- Identify issues and support resolution with practical recommendations
- Define review expectations for effective stakeholder and project-team feedback
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing instructional content
- Knowledge of and experience with eLearning and media development tools
- Demonstrated ability to apply instructional design principles to learning solutions
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and project coordination skills
- Ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality
- Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
