About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work as a member of a product team with a Product Manager, Designer, and Engineers
- Solve real product problems on FamilySearch, a large genealogy platform
- Conduct user research
- Define success metrics
- Make prioritization decisions
- Ship features that shape how users discover family history
- Contribute to products including Family Tree and digital imaging systems
- Receive assignments from supervising staff
- Complete assignments under general supervision
- Meet challenging deadlines and follow directions
- Collaborate with others and apply attention to detail
- Have work reviewed by the manager and supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in school, or enrolled in school within the past 12 months
- Previous product management experience is preferred
- Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
- Ability to meet rigid and challenging deadlines
- Ability to work harmoniously with others
- Ability to take direction on each assignment
- Strong attention to detail
- Independence in working, tact, and diplomacy
- Sound judgment of Church doctrine, history, organization, policy, and protocol
