About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in analysis of functional requirements
- Participate in mapping functional requirements to technical designs
- Provide estimates for development tasks
- Develop source code and unit tests according to technical designs
- Participate in code reviews
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Apply AI tools and techniques to accelerate, improve, and enhance work quality
- Participate in the Incident Management process and fix defects on a 24/7 basis
- Comply with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements and ensure compliance by others
- Develop and maintain software source code under the supervision of a technical lead
- Analyze, debug, test, modify, and document technologies and applications
- Solve moderately complex technical issues with limited supervision as an individual contributor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Two years of relevant professional experience
- Strong understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies and principles
- Clear and accurate written communication skills and great attention to detail
- Intermediate skills in engineering/programming, analytical/diagnostic/troubleshooting, web technology, and programming methodology
- Conceptual understanding of systems and subsystems
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and services
- Practical understanding of DevSecOps
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles
- Significant experience using AI as an agent orchestrator and using spec-driven development techniques
- Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing complex Power Platform applications, including C# plugins, cloud flows, canvas apps, and custom components
- Azure DevOps experience for complex Power Platform applications
- Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Application Insights
- Basic knowledge of applicable software, computer languages, and code
- Demonstrated aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies and programming languages
- Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
- Professional experience with large-scale systems and strong experience in supported tools, methodologies, and technologies (preferred)
- Strong understanding of computer systems and experience in supported tools, methodologies, and technologies (preferred)
- Physical ability to sit for long periods and use computer monitors/equipment as needed
