About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Receive, organize, and track software requests from BYU-Pathway employees, departments, and supporting teams
- Maintain an accurate request tracker with request details, assigned owners, priorities, status, key dates, and outcomes
- Help determine routing through ICS vendor management, CES IT purchasing, or other review groups
- Coordinate with requestors and stakeholders to gather information, clarify business needs, and provide status updates
- Serve as a communication point between requestors, project managers, vendor management, purchasing, privacy, security, legal, AI review, and other stakeholders
- Prepare meeting agendas, request summaries, status reports, and follow-up documentation
- Monitor requests through review, approval, and procurement processes
- Track action items, owners, blockers, and due dates
- Support governance efforts promoting responsible technology adoption, frugal purchasing, and compliance with organizational standards and policies
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to software request intake, triage, routing, tracking, and reporting
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must reside in Utah or Idaho
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
- Ability to track multiple requests, priorities, owners, and deadlines simultaneously
- Clear communication with requestors, project managers, and stakeholder groups
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, spreadsheets, forms, and project management tools such as Wrike
- Ability to record business requirements, decisions, issues, and action items clearly and concisely
- Ability to follow established workflows and improve developing processes
- Discretion when handling sensitive business, contract, privacy, and security information
- Ability to build productive relationships across technical and non-technical teams
- Understanding of request tracking, prioritization, and project support practices
- Familiarity with software review, approval, procurement, and governance processes
- Basic knowledge of privacy, security, legal, and compliance considerations related to technology adoption
- Understanding of cross-functional collaboration and communication practices
- Experience organizing, tracking, or coordinating multiple tasks, projects, requests, or deadlines
- Experience maintaining trackers, spreadsheets, reports, or status updates
- Experience working effectively in a collaborative team environment
