About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead development and deployment of end-to-end business-unit supply chain strategy
- Drive implementation through projects and initiatives supporting execution excellence, business strategy, and financial objectives
- Hire, train, and develop the Strategic Project Managers team
- Manage team capacity, flexibility, resource allocation, roles, responsibilities, and execution barriers
- Lead strategic supply chain projects and initiatives from strategy through executable plans and measurable business impact
- Evaluate network, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and planning options
- Build fact-based recommendations using financial, operational, risk, and customer-impact inputs
- Translate strategic choices into project charters, execution roadmaps, resourcing needs, decision points, and success measures
- Partner with Planning, Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and business teams
- Lead governance routines and executive-ready updates
- Identify opportunities to improve supply performance, reduce complexity, enable growth, and strengthen supply assurance
- Manage the business-unit cost savings program and pipeline
- Lead strategic margin improvement and cost savings initiatives
- Build, maintain, and communicate cost savings pipelines
- Develop decision-ready business cases
- Coordinate governance routines to review progress, remove barriers, confirm financial treatment, and align next actions
- Use external benchmarks, internal performance data, and business priorities to identify margin expansion opportunities
- Explore external supply chain benchmarks, capabilities, trends, best practices, and competitive intelligence
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10 plus years of progressive supply chain management experience spanning more than one discipline, including Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, and Logistics
- Demonstrated track record of success with increasing responsibility
- Ability to identify and develop strategic and tactical options to improve supply chain performance and capabilities
- Ability to collaborate with and influence subordinates, peers, and senior executives
- Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions from complex data and information
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal forms
- Excellent understanding of business financials and ability to articulate financial impacts to supply chain choices and risks
- Ability to manage and prioritize planned and unplanned work
- Drive and commitment to deliver complex projects and initiatives on time and on budget
- Deep knowledge of end-to-end business and supply chain interdependencies
- Ongoing development and learning about the external environment
- Demonstrated Clorox leadership model attributes and values
- BS/BA Degree
- MBA highly desirable
