About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of medium to large-scale capital projects across Clorox manufacturing sites
- Ensure projects align with business objectives, timelines, budgets, safety standards, and performance objectives
- Direct cross-functional teams including process, packaging, electrical, controls, operations, and external engineering partners
- Develop project strategies using engineering principles, technical expertise, and business acumen
- Own project scope, schedules, financial performance, resource planning, risk management, and vendor relationships
- Implement new technologies, process improvements, automation solutions, and major equipment or infrastructure upgrades
- Deliver integrated technical, operational, and people-focused solutions improving reliability, productivity, quality, safety, and business performance
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship by establishing best practices, championing engineering standards, and building team capabilities
- Lead Communities of Practice by defining objectives, establishing KPIs, developing technical standards, and fostering knowledge sharing
- Liaise between business stakeholders and technical development teams; manage project backlogs, define user requirements, support testing, and ensure solutions meet business needs
- Build organizational partnerships, communicate complex technical concepts, and drive change across the manufacturing network
- Travel 40–60% depending upon project activity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in engineering - civil, mechanical, industrial
- 10+ years in engineering and manufacturing operations management
- 5+ years leading increasing complexity and scale of capital projects and budgets
- 2+ years in people management, including employee selection, placement, development/coaching, and career planning
- Consumer Packaged Goods experience
- Hands-on experience with SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and SAP Fiori
- Understanding of SAP module functionalities
- Recognized internal technical expertise and ability to lead new technology and complex projects independently
- Ability to lead and develop programs to build technical capability in the GTSLT Group
- PMP certification desired
