About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of medium to large-scale capital projects across Clorox manufacturing sites
  • Ensure projects align with business objectives, timelines, budgets, safety standards, and performance targets
  • Direct cross-functional teams including process, packaging, electrical, controls, operations, and external engineering partners
  • Develop and execute project strategies using engineering principles, technical expertise, and business acumen
  • Own project scope, schedules, financial performance, resource planning, risk management, and vendor relationships
  • Implement new technologies, process improvements, automation solutions, and major equipment or infrastructure upgrades
  • Deliver integrated technical, operational, and people-focused solutions that improve reliability, productivity, quality, safety, and business performance
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, establish best practices, champion engineering standards, and build team capabilities
  • Lead Communities of Practice by defining objectives, establishing KPIs, developing technical standards, and fostering knowledge sharing
  • Liaise between business stakeholders and technical development teams by managing backlogs, defining user requirements, supporting testing, and ensuring solutions meet business needs
  • Build organizational partnerships, communicate complex technical concepts, and drive change across the manufacturing network

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in engineering - civil, mechanical, industrial
  • 10+ years in engineering and manufacturing operations management
  • 5+ years leading increasing complexity and scale of capital projects and budgets
  • 2+ years in people management, including employee selection, placement, development/coaching, and career planning
  • Consumer Packaged Goods experience
  • Hands-on experience with SAP modules, such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and SAP Fiori, and understanding of their functionalities
  • Technical expertise in the relevant area, including leading new technology and complex projects independently
  • Ability to lead and develop programs to build technical capability in the GTSLT Group
  • PMP certification desired
  • Willingness to travel 40–60% depending upon project activity
