About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the quarterly close process and assist with preparation of the Company’s quarterly Form 10-Q and annual Form 10-K with the SEC
  • Prepare and tie out footnote disclosures and coordinate internal deliverables
  • Support the Company’s quarterly earnings release process
  • Develop relationships with Finance business partners to provide accounting and business support
  • Research and recommend solutions for SEC Reporting issues and implement accounting changes
  • Prepare quarterly deliverables, including rounding sheet, balance sheet analytics and disclosure checklist
  • Attend quarterly 10-K and MD&A review meetings with functional accounting and corporate finance leaders
  • Support special projects and ad hoc tasks
  • Support internal and external audit activities, including providing and coordinating deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting standards, accounting policies and financial statements, and research skills
  • Strong attention to detail resulting in consistently reliable, accurate and thorough work product
  • Effective verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and business writing skills
  • Strong project management skills, including ability to work effectively in teams and influence and lead cross-functional projects
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively with strong planning and task organizational skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and proactive
  • Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Office suite, primarily Word and Excel
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Experience with Wdesk, SAP or other ERP systems preferred
  • Big 4 or public accounting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Actively licensed CPA preferred
