About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the small, senior engineering team developing secure, governed AI agents for Coca-Cola operating units and bottlers
- Turn business questions into AI solutions grounded in enterprise data on Azure and Databricks
- Own architecture and delivery of production AI solutions including RAG, tool-calling agents, LLM applications and machine learning
- Build solutions using Azure OpenAI, Databricks and Python
- Hire, coach and develop AI engineers
- Review code and set engineering standards
- Evaluate LLM output and run production observability, governance, security, privacy and access control
- Create a deliverable AI roadmap with reusable patterns and engineering practices
- Serve as technical voice to senior business stakeholders across APAC, Africa, LATAM and EMEA
- Translate broad requests into achievable commitments, manage trade-offs and governance, and deliver measurable business outcomes
- Stay hands-on with architecture, code reading and code review
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years in software, AI, ML or platform engineering
- 5+ years leading engineering teams or functions
- Progression from engineer or architect into leadership
- Personally shipped production code and able to read and review it
- Production generative AI and agentic solutions delivered at enterprise scale
- Experience with RAG, vector search, and agents with tool calling
- Ability to communicate technical vision to non-technical executives
- Experience delivering in large, politically complex, matrixed organizations
- Deep, hands-on Azure experience preferred, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions or AKS, and Azure data services
- Databricks, data warehousing or lakehouse platforms and terabyte-scale data experience preferred
- Experience delivering solutions across multiple global regions preferred
- GraphRAG, knowledge graphs, semantic search, LangChain or LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, AI observability and governance tooling preferred
- Consumer goods, commercial or revenue growth management domain experience preferred
- Currently authorized to work full-time in the United States
- Must not require The Coca-Cola Company's employment sponsorship
