About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build and scale data science models and AI agents that turn LATAM data into decisions
- Build predictive and prescriptive models for forecasting, elasticity, segmentation and next-best-action
- Take use cases from proof of concept to production through experimentation design, feature engineering, validation and business-impact measurement
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, drivers, risks and optimization opportunities
- Design and build LLM-powered assistants, copilots and multi-step agentic workflows
- Apply RAG, prompt and context engineering, tool/function calling, orchestration, multi-agent design and semantic/ontology grounding
- Operationalize agents on Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, Azure ML and the Nexus AI platform
- Deploy, version and integrate agents into business workflows
- Evaluate and harden agents using evaluation sets and guardrails; monitor accuracy, hallucination, bias, drift and token costs
- Embed Responsible AI and governance, including lineage, auditability and safe, compliant use
- Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Strategy, data engineering and governance teams
- Apply MLOps practices including CI/CD, monitoring and reproducibility
- Translate technical results into business stories and recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Coach analysts, share reusable patterns and promote experimentation and evidence-based decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning or advanced analytics, including hands-on delivery of models into production
- Practical experience building GenAI/agentic solutions, including LLM applications, RAG, prompt/context engineering, tool calling and agent orchestration
- Strong programming and ML foundations: Python, pandas, scikit-learn, a modern deep-learning/LLM framework, SQL, statistics and experimentation
- Experience with cloud data and AI platforms, preferably Azure, including Azure ML and Azure AI Foundry/OpenAI
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric/Databricks, MLOps and vector stores
- Awareness of Responsible AI and governance, including evaluation, guardrails, bias/drift monitoring, lineage and cost control
- Strong communication and business acumen
- Ability to collaborate in matrixed, global teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with the Beverage/System landscape, including RGM, Commercial and Revenue, is a plus
- Master’s degree is a plus
- Awareness of EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF is a plus
