About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, enhance, and support business systems that drive organizational objectives and business outcomes
- Serve as the primary point of contact for system functionality
- Partner with business and technology teams to support, enhance, and optimize financial systems
- Gather and document business and technical requirements
- Analyze processes and deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency and support strategic objectives
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors
- Ensure technology solutions align with business needs and enterprise standards
- Lead financial initiatives
- Support solution design, testing, and deployment activities
- Provide guidance to team members and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field
- 5–8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting complex business and technology initiatives
- Ability to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering solutions that drive operational effectiveness
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in data management, data analysis, data integration, and database technologies
- Experience supporting corporate financial systems and related business processes preferred
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities, influence stakeholders, mentor team members, and translate business needs into scalable technology solutions
- Expertise in Finance, business process analysis, data governance, and systems implementation
- Experience with Essbase, SmartView, Oracle Cloud Products (Hyperion), VBA, and SQL preferred
- Technical development skills in SQL, Essbase Calculation Scripts, Microsoft Access, and Visual Basic
