About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish processes for stewards to execute activities and communicate actions to peer stewards and other business users/roles
  • Collaborate on the development of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor and report on data quality and integrity across all data sources and systems
  • Collaborate with data owners and stewards to define data standards and best practices
  • Conduct data quality assessments to identify and resolve data issues
  • Maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories within Purview
  • Provide training and support to data users on data quality best practices
  • Ensure compliance with data and model governance policies
  • Work with IT and business teams to support business-forward initiatives
  • Design and recommend data lifecycle and process improvement opportunities with Business Data Stewards
  • Report on data quality metrics and performance
  • Support data stewardship activities
  • Promote data literacy across the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience in data management, data governance, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of data best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data management tools and technologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with data quality tools and technologies
