About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collect, develop, analyze, document and communicate business needs and requirements
  • Liaise and collaborate with technology and business organizations
  • Assess assignment needs through direct interaction with management, leadership, technology, business and customers
  • Analyze requirements and develop specifications, storyboards and prototypes for integrated solutions
  • Support or lead highly complex business and technical processes across multiple departments or lines of business

  • Provide technical expertise across business functions and understand relationships between business, data and technology
  • Manage collection, analysis, documentation and coordination of multiple business and technical requirements
  • Facilitate planning and requirements-gathering sessions with business partners
  • Establish business-partner relationships and manage innovative solution development and implementation
  • Provide technical coaching and mentoring to less experienced team members
  • Research and apply best practices to technology solutions
  • Define business needs, align them with priorities and assess impacts on other processes
  • Advise business partners on options, technical limitations, risks and cost-benefit considerations
  • Oversee requirements documentation and participate in prototype development
  • Collaborate with project managers across requirements, design, testing, implementation and maintenance
  • Support development and execution of test/use cases
  • Define when to employ automation and determine its impact
  • Participate in, facilitate and lead project meetings and sessions
  • Support complex reports and report requirements
  • Analyze and provide production support for complex or escalated issues
  • Partner with technology development to provide solutions
  • Provide support through the warranty period when needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires seven to ten years of relevant technical and business work experience
  • In-depth knowledge of business operations, requirements processing, business modeling concepts, information systems and project life-cycle knowledge, and business process development
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, specialized training, certification or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of Industry Business Analysis Best Practices preferred
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical and business concepts effectively
  • Conceptual thinking and ability to recognize patterns and relationships
  • Professional or technical consulting expertise
