About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct comprehensive credit and financial statement reviews for prospective and renewal customers with loss-sensitive programs
- Assess the financial strength and creditworthiness of large deductible and loss-sensitive accounts
- Partner with Middle and Large Business practice leaders and underwriters to support business objectives and growth
- Drive department objectives to improve processes and increase efficiency using technology and AI-enabled solutions
- Develop understanding of workflows and concepts related to loss-sensitive insurance programs
- Manage and understand collateral solutions for high-deductible insurance programs
- Understand private equity sponsors’ goals and anticipate strategic direction and related credit implications
- Engage with business partner leaders and underwriters across National Accounts, Captives, Construction, Y-Risk, Middle Market, and Energy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to interact with senior business partners
- Strong Microsoft Office suite skillset, including AI products
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with competing priorities
- Process-improvement and technology-driven mindset, including leverage of AI tools and solutions
- High degree of initiative and resourcefulness
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial analytics, or related discipline
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Understanding of industry economics and market dynamics
- Knowledge of large deductible, loss-sensitive insurance programs preferred
- Credit analysis, collateral management, and insurance product knowledge preferred, but not required
