About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in The Hartford’s two-year Finance Leadership Development Program
- Develop critical leadership and functional skills in financial planning and analysis, management reporting, financial reporting, internal audit, and investment accounting and analysis
- Complete rotation assignments to build financial acumen and industry knowledge
- Engage in formal and experiential learning with coaching, mentoring and feedback
- Participate in supplemental project work
- Access structured learning for functional and role-based skills
- Transition toward key Finance roles upon program graduation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Students expecting to graduate in May 2026
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Insurance and/or International Business
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the time of graduation
- Record of high achievement, analytical thinking, initiative and process improvement
- Strong communication, change agility and team skills
- Ability to analyze and reason through complex problems and make sound recommendations in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership experience outside of the classroom
