About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop reports using FactSet, YCharts and Morningstar to help investment professionals and sales position Hartford Funds products
Analyze performance, portfolio characteristics, peers and competitors
Participate in department meetings on due diligence, research topics and data analytics
Further develop HEART (Hartford Enhanced Analytics and Risk Tool) for portfolio construction best practices
Partner with Compliance, Marketing and Sales on distribution initiatives
Collaborate with Investment, Sales, Compliance and Marketing professionals on research and content delivery across Hartford Funds’ product lineup
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be currently enrolled in college as a Business/Finance/Economics major
Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint preferred
Strong ability to multi-task and handle several projects simultaneously
Familiarity with mutual funds and exchange-traded funds preferred
Interest in financial markets
Strong desire to learn with professional drive
Willing to take on new projects and lend a hand to the team where needed
