About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Make outbound calls to prospective members and qualified leads
- Introduce healthcare services and health plan options and identify member needs
- Schedule qualified enrollment appointments and follow up with leads
- Use sales techniques to build rapport, overcome objections, and secure appointments
- Provide accurate information and professional customer service by phone and email
- Maintain accurate records of calls, appointments, follow-ups, and customer interactions
- Meet individual and team appointment and performance targets
- Follow established scripts, procedures, and government-required guidelines
- Collaborate with enrollment and team members to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Perform related administrative and customer service tasks as needed
- Perform other assigned duties related to the position
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficient level of English (written and spoken)
- Proficient level of Spanish (written and spoken)
- Previous experience in outbound sales, appointment setting, call centers, collections, or healthcare enrollment
- Strong communication, persuasion, negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle objections and overcome customer rebuttals effectively
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and working toward performance targets
- Availability for an initial three-month commitment
- Ability to follow scripts, procedures, and compliance requirements accurately
- Familiarity with CRM and sales-tracking systems is a plus
- Healthcare experience is preferred
- Resourceful, accountable, adaptable, reliable, self-motivated, and confident
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and document management tools
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, software, and workflows
- Ability to work U.S. EST (New York) business hours and adapt to business needs
- Able to undergo a background check
- Reliable Windows 10+ computer, two monitors, and high-speed internet
