About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Recruit Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) through cold calling, leads, referrals, previous applicants, and other recruitment sources
- Conduct outbound calls and follow up with caregivers interested in employment opportunities
- Explain employment opportunities, available cases, onboarding requirements, and the recruitment process
- Pre-screen caregivers based on experience, availability, location, language, and suitability for specific cases
- Conduct additional screening for difficult-to-staff or specialized cases
- Manage applicants throughout the full recruitment and onboarding process, from initial contact through completion
- Send applications and follow up to ensure timely completion
- Collect and review required employment and compliance documents
- Identify and follow up on missing, expired, or incomplete documentation
- Schedule caregivers for orientations, physicals, training, and other required appointments
- Follow up on missed appointments and outstanding onboarding requirements
- Maintain accurate applicant records, notes, statuses, and recruitment system updates
- Coordinate with internal departments when caregivers complete onboarding and are ready for placement
- Prioritize daily recruitment activities based on staffing needs and applicant urgency
- Complete assigned recruitment tasks and follow-ups within established timelines with minimal supervision
- Perform other duties related to the position as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficient level of English (written and spoken)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in recruitment, staffing, healthcare recruiting, or a related field
- Experience recruiting Home Health Aides (HHAs), caregivers, or other healthcare professionals is highly preferred
- Ability to handle high-volume calls and manage multiple applicants
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Experience using ATS, CRM, or recruitment management systems
- Strong follow-up skills with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Resourceful, accountable, with a strong sense of ownership
- Out-of-the-box thinker, highly adaptable, reliable, self-motivated, and confident
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills in fast-paced work environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with standard business tools (email, spreadsheets, document management)
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, software, and workflows
- Ability to work U.S. EST (New York) business hours and adapt to business needs
- Interested in long-term career opportunities
- Able to undergo a background check
- Reliable Windows 10+ computer, two monitors, and high-speed internet
