About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advance Hershey’s Digital Quality Strategy across food safety, quality, and regulatory programs
- Partner with QRC business owners, the Digital Quality team, Information Systems, and plant Quality Assurance teams
- Own and enhance the QRC Scorecard and Power BI portfolio, including semantic models, DAX measures, Power Query/M, refresh reliability, dashboards, and user support
- Develop metrics and analytical tools to show program health, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and support business decisions
- Lead QRC KPI development and annual metric reviews with business and regional partners
- Serve as technical lead for assigned QRC digital quality systems, primarily LIMS
- Direct internal teams and external providers responsible for system builds, configuration, and maintenance
- Triage incidents, identify root causes, support corrective actions, and monitor partner and vendor performance
- Translate business needs into functional and data specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Guide backlog items through intake, prioritization, and change processes
- Map current- and future-state processes with subject matter experts to identify improvement, automation, and responsible AI opportunities
- Lead workstreams, advise business owners on system and data dependencies, and help shape Digital Quality governance
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of relevant experience in data management, analytics or BI development, enterprise system administration, and/or business analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science/Analytics, Engineering, Food Science, Supply Chain, or a related discipline; equivalent technical experience will be considered
- Advanced Power BI capability, including semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query/M, and workspace and refresh administration
- Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of enterprise data platforms and relational databases or data warehouses
- Experience administering enterprise software, overseeing technical support teams or vendors, and writing functional and data specifications
- Experience with functional and user acceptance testing and tools such as qTest, Azure DevOps, JIRA, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and practical use of generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot
- Experience in consumer packaged goods or a regulated manufacturing environment preferred
- LIMS administration and configuration, preferably LabWare, including LIMS Basic and Crystal Reports preferred
- SAP S/4HANA Quality Management or Batch Management; data governance, master data, data catalogs, or ALCOA+; and manufacturing food safety, quality, and regulatory practices preferred
