About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish and execute strategy for the Supplier Quality System within The Hershey Company’s global Product Excellence Program
Lead supplier quality management for ingredients, complex ingredients, and packaging materials across the global manufacturing, co-manufacturing, and co-packing network
Ensure compliance with FDA Supply Chain Preventive Control and similar global regulations
Support innovation projects, continuous improvement, and formulation changes across functions
Establish quality, food safety, regulatory, and supplier governance strategies
Develop, deploy, and continuously improve global supplier quality systems, standards, and approval processes
Lead supplier qualification, risk assessment, audit programs, material approval, regulatory compliance, and supplier performance management
Drive supplier risk mitigation, resilience, strategic partnerships, and supply continuity
Build and develop a high-performing global Supplier Quality organization through technical leadership, coaching, and organizational direction
Collaborate with Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Food Safety, and external suppliers
Establish KPIs, monitor supplier quality trends, identify emerging risks, and lead corrective and preventive actions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 7 years of manufacturing experience in a high-speed automated Consumer Goods environment required; food industry preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience with progressive responsibility in Quality Assurance required
5 years of leadership/management experience with direct reports desired
Knowledge of Food Safety Modernization Act, HACCP, and/or USDA regulatory compliance required
Strong relationship management skills
Bachelor's degree required; science-based field preferred
Certifications in SQF, PCQI, and HACCP required
