About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Suffolk’s SEND Reform Transformation Programme, translating strategic priorities into delivery plans, milestones and measurable outcomes
  • Provide programme governance and assurance, including risk, dependency, reporting and escalation management
  • Support inspection readiness
  • Build multi-agency partnerships across education, health, social care, schools, families, and the voluntary and community sector
  • Use data, intelligence and stakeholder feedback to monitor performance, demonstrate impact and drive continuous improvement
  • Provide leadership and direct line management to members of the SEND reform programme team
  • Drive transformational change across SEND and inclusion to improve experiences and outcomes for children, young people and families

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience leading large-scale transformation and improvement programmes
  • Expert programme management, governance and delivery skills
  • Strong SEND leadership experience and knowledge of statutory frameworks
  • Excellent partnership-building, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly developed analytical, reporting and communication capabilities
  • Resilience and persistence to manage changing priorities and deliver improvement
  • DBS checks or police vetting will be required for relevant posts
  • Supporting statement, CV and case studies required as part of the application
  • Documents must be submitted in PDF or MS Word format
