About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with the customer experience throughout the installation job life cycle
- Perform technical measures, assess pre-existing conditions, and perform product affirmations
- Conduct Job Site Inspections to review quality of work and ensure industry construction standards are met
- Conduct service provider badging checks
- Meet with customers to ensure the install experience meets The Home Depot standards
- Resolve customer complaints, open services, customer inquiries, and jobs-on-hold
- Make decisions to prevent cycle-time delays
- Work with service providers to resolve issues
- Approve or escalate project changes before proceeding
- Ensure all open items are completed to the customer's satisfaction
- Initiate and maintain regular customer communication and follow-up
- Manage assigned jobs, open services, and Care Tickets to resolution
- Initiate change-of-scope requests and use reporting systems to support accuracy and efficient installation timelines
- Report to the District Installation Manager; manage no direct reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Must pass pre-employment test if applicable
- Construction/home improvement industry experience
- Prior experience managing residential home improvement install projects
- Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
- 5 years of work experience
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong negotiating skills
- Strong business acumen
- Problem solving and multi-tasking skills
- Collaborative leadership skills where strong value is placed on partnerships
- Intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material or equipment
- Regular exposure to dust, fumes, or odors
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time
