About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the install customer experience and team of associates across the post-sale job lifecycle
  • Ensure effective execution of Pre-Installation Inspection and Job Site Inspection processes
  • Manage job movement activities, scheduling, services, warranties, and job flow processes
  • Conduct contract and measure audits and site visits
  • Address contract scope adjustments, customer escalations, concessions, and Service Provider add-labor charge approvals
  • Drive customer experience through installation process standards, timely decisions, customer communications, care ticket responses, and service closures
  • Hire, set goals for, train, and manage performance of field install associates
  • Build relationships with business partners, sales teams, stores, and Core Services teams
  • Use data, reporting, and systems to meet cycle time, customer satisfaction, reorder rate, and gross margin targets
  • Manage job starts, customer interactions, job flow tasks, service orders, and service provider invoice processing
  • Report to the Branch Install Manager and oversee 2–5 direct reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
  • Construction/home improvement industry experience preferred
  • Prior experience managing residential home improvement install projects preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
  • 10 years of work experience
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Problem solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Collaborative leadership skills where strong value is placed on partnerships
  • Requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time
  • Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material or equipment
  • Regular exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes
