About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develops career development, talent planning, and performance management solutions
- Works with HR partners and business leaders to develop and implement talent discussions and succession planning processes and tools for the enterprise
- Develops programs supporting associate and leadership development
- Establishes a common approach to mentoring and career pathing
- Develops and manages performance management processes and tools
- Partners with SSC and field professionals outside the workgroup
- Reports to the Senior Manager, Performance Systems (Talent Planning, Performance Management & Career Development)
- Requires typically less than 10% overnight travel
- Has no direct responsibility for supervising others
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Knowledge of Performance Management and Talent Planning processes
- Project management experience in a corporate context
- Analytical background to support analysis of employee data
- Facilitation, presentation and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of employment law
- Master's degree or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
- Minimum 5 years of work experience
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization
- Very strong attention to detail
- Strong project management skills; ability to initiate project plans and balance multiple changing deadlines and priorities
- Discretion when handling confidential information
- Flexibility in a changing fast-paced environment with multiple work demands
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
