About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, configure, implement, optimize, and support scalable SAP S/4HANA Finance and Logistics solutions
Lead SAP MM Calculation Schemas/Pricing Procedures for global and local purchasing organizations
Configure Access Sequences and Condition Tables for purchase order pricing, discounts, rebates, surcharges, accruals, freight, and customs duties
Implement advanced pricing scenarios with quantity scales and validity periods
Integrate SAP MM solutions with SAP FI, Accounts Payable, Master Data, Warehouse Management, and supply chain processes
Develop functional and integration test suites
Provide production support and troubleshoot complex functional issues
Translate strategic business goals into scalable SAP configurations
Develop proof-of-concepts and solution prototypes
Identify process improvements and innovative approaches
Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, product, and technical teams in agile processes
Ensure user stories are valuable, developer-ready, understandable, and testable
Influence enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives
Guide and mentor junior engineers and share SAP best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be eighteen years of age or older
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
5 plus years of deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA SAP MM/Procurement
Expertise in Purchase Order Pricing Conditions and Pricing Schemas
Knowledge of Logistics and Inventory Management
Integration experience with Accounts Payable
Master Data Management experience, including vendor and pricing records
Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics processes from purchase order through shipping notification, goods receipts, inventory movements, invoice processing, chargebacks, and dispute processing
Experience integrating SAP Finance with Warehouse Management processes
Ability to design scalable, business-focused SAP solutions in large enterprise environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience supporting SAP implementations and ongoing production operations
Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field
Preferred: SAP S/4HANA 1909 or higher experience
Preferred: SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations
Preferred: SAP Certified Application Associate – Procurement with SAP S/4HANA or similar MM legacy certification
Preferred: experience architecting customized Calculation Schemas, specialized pricing procedures, SAP pricing enhancements, event-driven architecture, real-time data processing, high-throughput transaction platforms, and leading technical workstreams
