About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the Financial Reporting Experience, Forecasting and Planning, and Record to Report teams
Lead, coach, and mentor three teams of managers, technical leads, and onshore and offshore associates
Handle hiring, performance management, and succession planning
Own the architecture, design, development, and support of team solutions
Support the ECC to S/4 Finance transformation, Store Onboarding, and other key initiatives
Deliver planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions using OneStream, Clarity PPM, SAP BPC, and Longview
Deliver financial reporting and analytics using SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, BW 7.5, Analysis for Office, Tableau, and Google BigQuery
Deliver general ledger, fixed asset, project settlement, intercompany, close, and consolidation solutions using SAP S/4, ECC, Group Reporting, and Blackline
Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and technical teams to translate business goals into feasible solutions
Conduct cost/benefit analysis and identify process improvements and proofs of concept
Establish consistent delivery practices, including SOX controls, change and release management, and production support
Report typically to a Technology Director, Senior Director, or Vice President

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be eighteen years of age or older
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
Mastery of an object oriented programming language, preferably Java
Minimum 6 years of work experience
12+ years of experience in IT analyst or consulting roles preferred, including 5–7 years managing multiple distributed teams with offshore and third-party resources
7+ years of hands-on SAP experience across S/4, ECC, and BW4HANA preferred
Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO, Asset Accounting, and Project Systems in S/4HANA and ECC preferred
Experience with SAP S/4 Group Reporting preferred
Experience with Blackline integrated with SAP preferred
Experience configuring and supporting Clarity PPM using MUX, XOG, GEL scripts, workflows, REST API, and Studio preferred
Experience configuring and supporting OneStream, Longview, or SAP BPC preferred
Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Google BigQuery preferred
At least 4 full financial implementation cycles and experience facilitating design sessions preferred
Experience delivering business cases, project plans, and staffing plans, with understanding of SOX and financial controls preferred
Experience with formal testing tools and Windows Server with MS SQL Server preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field required
B.S. in Computer Science or Information Systems strongly preferred; M.S. preferred
