About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure THD At Home Services compliance with state and local regulatory license requirements
  • Hold and maintain specific trade licenses
  • Build and maintain relationships with state and local officials and trade organizations
  • Oversee Field compliance activities, including Service Provider licensing, permitting, professional standards, jobsite quality audits, and jobsite supervision
  • Ensure Service Providers comply with state and local contractor requirements and trade standards
  • Take state-regulated exams and complete continuing education requirements to attain or maintain trade licenses
  • Resolve customer complaints related to THD Services installations and approve customer satisfaction mark-downs up to $1,000
  • Meet with state and local officials and trade groups to discuss or resolve compliance issues
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis to identify risk and non-compliance areas
  • Report findings and propose solutions and process improvements to Service Compliance
  • Act as the primary compliance decision-maker for jobs performed by THD Service Providers in assigned categories and geography
  • Lead a work group by assigning and reviewing work, training, and contributing to performance appraisals
  • Travel overnight more than 50% of the time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
  • Strong relationships with state and local regulatory agencies and/or trade organizations
  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum education: high school diploma and/or GED
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience
  • Must hold HVAC or Mechanical Contractor license in Florida
  • Ability to pass any state/county/city regulated trade exams within a specified region
  • Ability to effectively manage Service Provider performance to ensure full compliance with regulatory law and their Service Provider Agreement
  • Effective interpersonal skills to develop relationships and persuade others to resolve problems, change people's minds and directly produce customer satisfaction
  • Ability to perform data analysis and derive meaningful conclusions
  • Ability to develop and implement process improvements and resolve complex issues
