About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of engineers building and designing customer- and associate-focused products
Create, deploy, maintain, and support production applications
Assist with product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and production monitoring
Develop reusable foundational code elements, architectural diagrams, and product-related documentation
Develop functional and destructive test suites to support rapid production deployment
Work with the Product Team to ensure user stories are developer-ready, understandable, and testable
Collaborate in agile processes with team members
Answer product and engineering team questions
Guide junior engineers on modern software development frameworks and lead technical discussions
Identify team gaps and suggest productivity improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be eighteen years of age or older
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
Minimum 3 years of work experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
Experience in Search tools (Elastic Search/Mongo Atlas/Apache Solr)
Efficient with fixing security vulnerabilities
Experience in Java Spring boot
Experience with cloud, preferably GCP
Experience writing SQL queries against a relational database
