About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver creative media mailers, press releases, and copy supporting client strategic objectives
  • Pitch product, news, and event stories to target media
  • Lead showroom appointments and cultivate relationships with press
  • Oversee Account Assistants/Interns in the daily sample trafficking process
  • Ensure sample trafficking requests are prioritized and escalate issues across communications and logistics departments
  • Manage workflow and delegate daily priorities to Account Assistants/Interns
  • Review client credit levels and discuss coverage solutions with Account Managers
  • Communicate with client stakeholders in the absence of Account Managers
  • Support asset management and ensure assets deliver required ROI
  • Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and media updates for client calls
  • Create competitor analysis for wider commercial decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive experience as a high performing Accounts Assistant/PR Assistant in a fast-paced agency/in-house environment
  • Interested in culture, arts, fashion and lifestyle and able to make suggestions about enhancing clients’ offerings
  • Strong relationships with press and industry peers
  • Strong written and oral communication, research, and organization skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize own work and junior team members’ work
  • Positive attitude to challenging situations and willingness to go above and beyond to complete projects accurately and on time
  • Efficient in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
