About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Report to the Director of Information Technology
  • Lead and develop the IT Support team
  • Provide leadership, direction, growth, and mentoring
  • Lead continuous improvement of the end user IT experience
  • Oversee end user IT support within the organization
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair new and existing PCs
  • Maintain and administer computer networks and connected desktop/laptop computers
  • Respond to escalated helpdesk tickets requiring complex or time-consuming problem solving
  • Manage IT inventory
  • Provide training to IT Support Technicians
  • Participate in continuous improvement, learning, and development
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7 years of end user technical support and helpdesk experience
  • Undergraduate degree, certification, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office 365 products
  • Proficiency in Active Directory
  • Proficiency with Windows-based PCs and laptops
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, continuously evolving, and at times ambiguous environment
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Flexible and quickly adaptable to changing priorities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle a large volume of phone calls
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to present information understandably to non-technical staff
  • Ability to see, sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear
