About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the GCC Transportation Manager (Global Capability Center)
- Execute Transportation & Logistics operations
- Investigate freight damage related to claims issuance
- Facilitate communication and coordination between internal customer groups and external carrier contacts to achieve service level objectives
- Monitor data flows between ERP, TMS, and WMS systems to ensure synchronization for successful transportation execution for return operations
- Review finished goods for correct application and calculation of claim value
- Interact daily with off-site carriers and on-site carrier partners to resolve service and capacity issues, escalating critical issues to management as needed
- Analyze ingredients for correct classification of finished goods to determine SKU Schedule B code
- Collaborate with business units, GBS, and external carriers
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in international commerce and international business
- 2+ Years Transportation & Logistics experience with experience in Claims or Safety Department
- Strong knowledge of Transportation and Logistics operations
- Proficiency in Transportation software & tools (TMS, OTM, SAP, ORTEC & 4Kites)
- Proven track record to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Strong Communication Skills
