About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate new business opportunities for the Global Entity Management (GEM) team
  • Create and maintain target lists of prospective GEM clients
  • Complete initial approaches introducing GEM services to prospective clients
  • Prepare capability statements, proposals and pitch content
  • Work with GEM subject-matter experts on documents, calls and meetings supporting opportunities
  • Track future opportunities, including client renewals and potential tenders
  • Lead client onboarding processes on both the Law Debenture and client sides
  • Support GEM participation in conferences and other business development events
  • Review attendee lists for potential leads and conduct client and prospect research
  • Support event organisation
  • Maintain accurate business development activity and pipeline records in Pipedrive
  • Build working relationships with GEM team members, senior management, and Marketing/Business Development colleagues across Law Debenture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-3 years' experience in a business development, sales, marketing or client-facing role, with a proven track record in converting leads
  • Previous experience in navigating tender processes, including RFI stages and RFP submissions
  • Degree preferred, in business, marketing or a similar discipline
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills, including advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Well organised, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines at once
  • Confident building relationships with senior colleagues and prospective clients
  • Comfortable working with GEM subject-matter experts to translate technical service detail into clear, compelling client content
  • Prior experience using a Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform
  • Prior experience using prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar
  • Experience working within regulated environments, such as financial services
  • Must complete thorough referencing, including credit and criminal record checks
