About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide human resources services in employee relations, compensation, talent management, benefits, payroll, staff development and training, organizational development, and recruiting
- Support Global Legal, Global Finance, and the Office of Investments
- Partner with HR Managers to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent execution of HR processes and policies
- Provide operations, administrative, and transactional support to HR Managers, HR Director, staff, and managers
- Perform Workday data entry and transactions
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding
- Manage and report HR data
- Support recruitment activities
- Provide benefits and leave administration guidance
- Administer location changes, personal move requests, and home office updates
- Advise on standard HR practices
- Prepare general HR communications, updates, and reminders
- Support HR Managers and HR Director on initiatives and projects
- Partner with People Team centers of excellence on shared objectives
- Report to the HR Director
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or 3 years HR related work experience or equivalent combination
- Experience responding to HR related questions and problems from employees/management
- Experience in database management and spreadsheet software, constructing and producing reports, or data input, manipulation and analysis
- Experience working with MS Office software, HR information systems and analytics tools
- Experience and familiarity with Workday
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience coordinating HR operational activities involving multiple stakeholders
- Broad understanding of fundamental HR concepts, processes, and services
- Successful completion of The Nature Conservancy's background screening process
