About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage customer orders from receipt to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Handle inbound and outbound service calls and manage online orders related to collision auto body parts
- Communicate with multiple departments and coordinate with vendors to fulfill orders quickly and efficiently
- Process orders, confirmations, replacements, RGAs, shipping and receiving, manufacturer and customer contacts
- Confirm order status, availability, ship dates, tracking information and cancellations with manufacturers
- Acquire return authorizations and credit memos from manufacturers
- Provide internal shipment documents
- Process shipping claims
- Send replacement requests and return authorizations to manufacturers promptly
- Resolve vendor and carrier invoice discrepancies within management goals
- Support customer service in resolving order issues
- Verify required documentation and assist Customer Care with customer account issues received via email
- Maintain and promote workplace safety
- Secure and transfer cash or other assets
- Perform miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-2 years customer service or related experience required
- At least one year of experience with collision auto body parts preferred for direct experience, though motivated candidates may be trained
- Proficient in basic computer programs and functions, including Word, Excel, Outlook, IE, Firefox, Chrome and GMAIL
- Punctual and consistent attendance
- Able to read and follow instructions and take directions from others
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Effectively prioritizes work and possesses time management skills
- Ability to use logic and sound judgment to make decisions based on available information
- Ability to type 45 wpm
