About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Schedule drivers’ routes and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries
Work with customers
Use the dispatch program to track orders from other stores and set up and distribute runs to drivers
Ensure drivers count collected money and record delivery times on bills
Coordinate with Parts Pullers to ensure deliveries go out correctly
Communicate routes to drivers
Update customers by phone on order status
Assist drivers with route difficulties and other job-related issues
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail
Great communication skills
Time management skills
Able to work well under pressure
Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors
Must have open availability and be flexible to work various shifts and overtime
1-2 years warehouse experience preferred
Current, valid driver’s license
Must meet company insurance requirements; drivers must be 21 years old or over
Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
Maintain and promote workplace safety
Securing and transferring cash or other assets
