About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders to replenish inventory as needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of automotive parts.
- Perform regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Work closely with the purchasing team to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and seasonality.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize inventory storage and organization.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other related metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes and implement solutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, as needed.
- Knowledge of domestic and European automotive parts is a plus.
- Maintain and promote workplace safety.
- Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
