About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain high productivity, efficiency, and customer service
Ensure customer service goals are continuously met
Formulate and enforce picking goals for each warehouse area/zone
Ensure dock-to-stock for most lines within 72 hours
Develop procedures with purchasing for unloading vendor orders and stocking shelves
Ensure trucks/trailers are efficiently and accurately loaded and unloaded
Work with dispatchers and outbound production teams to enhance delivery-vehicle customer service
Check in and post orders from hubs and vendors
Maintain accurate inventory counts
Assist parts pullers in locating and identifying parts
Handle damaged deliveries and report damaged merchandise to shippers and vendors
Coordinate inventory updates and replacements with the store manager and purchasing
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety
Ensure safety and compliance practices meet DOT and OSHA standards
Maintain and routinely administer 5S warehouse principles
Manage FedEx, UPS, USPS, and local contract delivery relationships
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have 2-4 years experience as a stock manager
Expertise in supply chain, logistics, and time sensitive distribution required
Experience with WMS/inventory management system, RF technology and conveyor technology
Ability to multi-task and adjust to dynamic order flow fluctuations as needed
Self-starter able to identify production delays and proactively take action
Experience tracking metrics, including inbound/outbound productivity KPIs
Knowledge of automotive parts preferred
Forklift, Hazmat and OSHA Certifications preferred
Clean/valid driver's license preferred
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10 hours, squat, bend and reach, and safely climb and descend stairs where applicable
Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers
Ability to maintain and promote workplace safety
Ability to secure and transfer cash or other assets
