About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the evolution of The RealReal’s logistics strategy and network operations
- Lead the team responsible for movement of product inbound, outbound, and across TRR locations
- Manage service-level agreements and other KPIs while driving operational efficiencies
- Communicate network performance at a senior level and summarize initiative impacts for the business
- Identify and execute network changes to enhance customer and consignor experience while driving logistics cost efficiencies
- Drive analytics and reporting requirements for the shipping P&L
- Build and maintain models to track P&L and key metrics
- Coordinate cross-functionally to interpret findings, identify opportunities, and communicate recommendations to executives
- Manage and negotiate with third-party small parcel and LTL carriers
- Build a team and influence cross-functionally to improve the product transportation experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of total experience
- 2-3 years in management consulting, finance or similar analytical role a plus
- Previous experience in ecommerce fulfillment, retail transportation or general supply chain operations
- Demonstrated ability of managing operational details and execution, while also understanding big picture
- Experience with quantitative analysis and modeling, creative problem solving, and complex cross-functional project management
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments, bring structure, prioritize and drive to results
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Comfort in Google Suite tools
