Key responsibilities & impact
  • Test everything the team builds before it reaches customers
  • Perform exploratory testing of every feature before release across major browsers and mobile
  • Own the release checklist and regression run for every release
  • Maintain Playwright end-to-end tests, updating them when screens change and adding cases for discovered bugs
  • Write bug reports with steps, screenshots and severity, and verify fixes after release
  • Test Stripe subscriptions, credits and financial calculators
  • Check customer data separation so one customer cannot see another customer’s data
  • Test the migration of 60 customers from GoHighLevel to the new platform, ensuring data is complete and correct
  • Keep test cases and known-issues documentation up to date
  • Report directly to the founders rather than the engineer
  • Plan weekly testing priorities independently around the release schedule

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years testing web SaaS products, including at least one role where you were the main or only tester
  • Risk-based test planning and ability to prioritize testing
  • Hands-on exploratory and regression testing using lightweight test-case tools such as TestRail, Qase, Notion or a spreadsheet
  • Working-level Playwright in TypeScript, including running a suite, reading failures and traces, fixing broken locators, and adding test cases; Cypress experience transfers
  • API testing with Postman, Bruno or Playwright’s request API, including error handling and webhook verification
  • Read-level SQL for checking data in Postgres
  • Ability to interpret GitHub Actions CI runs and distinguish flaky tests from real failures
  • Clear, reproducible bug reports in GitHub Issues, Linear or Jira
  • Clear written English
  • Comfortable testing Stripe billing end to end in test mode, validating data migrations, using AI tools for test-case and automation drafts, and performing multi-tenant and permissions testing are nice to have
  • Accessibility testing (WCAG 2.2), mobile browser testing, visual regression tools, and GoHighLevel experience are nice to have
  • Ability to work 15–20 hours per week with hours flexing around release dates
  • Ability to plan testing independently and report directly to the founders
  • No property knowledge required; domain knowledge will be taught

Benefits

Comp & perks
