Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or relevant experience
  • 3–5 years of progressive work experience in customer service, employee benefits, account management, sales support, or HR generalist duties preferred
  • Life and Disability insurance license for the resident state within the assigned hub; license must be obtained within 6 months of hire and kept current
  • Broad understanding of insurance contracts, statutes, tax regulations, and underwriting guidelines
  • Ability to summarize or paraphrase complex contract language, reports, and other subjects in plain language
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Independent decision-making ability
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
  • Adaptability to changing priorities
  • Exceptional collaboration and customer advocacy
  • Demonstrated proficiency in writing, basic Excel, and math skills
  • May be required to travel based on role, assigned caseload, and territory
  • Must pass criminal background investigation and employment, education, and licensing verification
  • Must be bondable
