About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and evolve participant experience strategies supporting business goals and improving participant outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives enhancing participant services, communications, tools, and experiences
  • Serve as the internal advocate for participant needs and expectations
  • Measure and analyze participant and plan performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities
  • Provide marketing and participant education consultation for key clients
  • Support sales and service teams as a subject matter expert
  • Partner with Sales, Service, Product, Marketing, and Technology teams
  • Use market insights, customer feedback, and performance data to prioritize enhancements
  • Drive strategic initiatives and deliver participant communications and educational campaigns

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or similar field
  • 3+ years of experience in the retirement plan industry, customer experience, participant engagement, or a related field
  • Experience leading or supporting cross-functional initiatives and driving business improvements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging messages
  • Experience using data, customer feedback, and performance metrics to inform decisions and measure success
  • Experience developing participant education, marketing campaigns, or customer communication strategies
  • Knowledge of defined contribution retirement plans and participant behavior trends
  • Experience collaborating with sales, service, product, marketing, and technology teams
  • Strong presentation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and ambiguous challenges
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Must pass criminal background investigation and employment, education, and licensing verification
  • Must be bondable
