About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Learn payroll operations, processes, controls, terminology, and service standards
  • Gain understanding of end-to-end payroll administration
  • Assist with payroll data validation, reconciliations, reporting, and analytical reviews
  • Support payroll-related research, issue resolution, documentation, audit requests, and cross-functional coordination
  • Contribute to payroll process improvement, automation, workflow documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Apply payroll, compensation, tax, accounting, or analytical knowledge to assigned projects
  • Collaborate with Payroll, Producer Services, Accounting, Tax, and business leaders
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy
  • Work under one manager while having opportunities to collaborate with multiple teams
  • Complete other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student for the duration of the internship
  • Rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, and students pursuing advanced degrees may apply
  • Sponsorship is not available for this internship opportunity
  • Preferred majors in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated through previous work experience and/or course of study
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Teams, and Outlook
  • Experience with AI tools preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with team members and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and critical thinking skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new skills and accept feedback
  • Must satisfy background investigation and employment, education, and licensing verification requirements
  • Must be bondable
