About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management
Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty
Wear a body-worn camera and complete Company-approved uniform
Maintain a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store
Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide
Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect
Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department
Respond to customer requests by referring customers to store management or customer service via Company-issued radio
Observe and report suspicious behavior or critical incidents to loss prevention or store management
Perform a closing safety sweep with a member of management
Adhere to Company policies and procedures
Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management
Maintain and support Company culture and values
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication
Sound decision-making skills
Ability to take initiative and perform well independently
Ability to prioritize and organize workload and manage time effectively
Able to stand for long periods of time
0–2 years of retail or security experience
