Support a positive customer shopping experience and maintain a strong store partnership with store teams and Loss Prevention
Understand operational procedures and deter acts of dishonesty within established customer service guidelines
Provide timely, courteous, and knowledgeable service to customers
Engage customers, provide support, and create a positive shopping environment
Deter theft through customer engagement and a professional, knowledgeable presence
Observe accurate checkout procedures for customers and Associates
Communicate shrink-related concerns to Store Management and Loss Prevention
Partner with Store Management and Loss Prevention to accomplish work assignments and goals
Coordinate and complete shrink-related activities with Store Management
Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs
Promote a culture of honesty and integrity and maintain confidentiality
Encourage Associate use of shrink reduction resources
Promote safety awareness and support maintenance of a safe environment
Follow through on commitments and accomplish goals with minimum supervision
Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent communication skills and good judgment
Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks
Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
0–2 years of retail or security experience
