About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and execute data syncs and ETL processes between the primary CRM and third-party revenue channels, ensuring data consistency and accuracy
  • Develop, maintain, and execute reports and data extracts for finance, development, and marketing teams
  • Support reconciliation, campaign analysis, and list generation
  • Serve as the main point of contact for data requests from the advancement team and channel leaders
  • Provide first-line technical troubleshooting and resolution for data integrity issues, system errors, and integration failures across donor systems
  • Handle duplicate merges, regular data updates, and basic system questions
  • Configure batch data into Salesforce when integration is not possible or disaggregate third-party data flows
  • Administer and configure donor-facing technology platforms and internal CRM settings in partnership with development and technology teams
  • Work closely with revenue teams, marketing, and content on systems support
  • Maintain documentation of data flows, system integrations, reporting processes, and data quality standards
  • Collaborate effectively with others

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Applicants and staff must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States
  • The Trevor Project will not sponsor an employment visa or work visa for this role
  • Proficiency in administration and data management of a major CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce NPSP, Raiser’s Edge, Dynamics)
  • Working with data querying languages or tools (e.g., SQL, SOQL, or advanced Excel/Google Sheets functions) for data extraction and manipulation
  • Experience with data integration or ETL tools (e.g., Mulesoft, Zapier, Informatica) to connect disparate systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Successful planning and problem-solving skills, including multitasking and working well within tight timelines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Commitment to fostering and maintaining an environment of belonging
