About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across pre- and post-registration occupational therapy and allied health professions’ education
  • Work with the Head of Subject and lecturers in the academic team
  • Plan, design, develop and deliver programmes of study at all levels
  • Support innovative simulation and practice-based learning opportunities
  • Work with industry partners on enterprise, research and knowledge exchange opportunities
  • Foster an inclusive community and improve student belonging
  • Diversify the curriculum and use inclusive assessment approaches to close the award gap
  • Progress research and enterprise activities in line with School priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Dynamic occupational therapist
  • Keen to develop in an academic role
  • Excellent team player
  • Willingness to work on a variety of activities and tasks within the Occupational Therapy team, Directorate, Faculty and University
  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Occupational therapy or allied health professions knowledge
  • Ability to contribute to teaching, learning, enterprise and research activities
