About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in designing, coding, and debugging scalable, secure, and high-performance digital commerce ticketing applications and features
  • Support development of components and frameworks for JavaScript, Angular, Node, and Flutter web applications using AI tools
  • Perform hands-on component-level coding
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices
  • Communicate blockers during daily standups and research mitigation plans
  • Document completed work and showcase it during sprint and demo meetings
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, Product Owners, TPMs, and other business units to achieve product and business requirements
  • Deliver high-visibility projects using the recommended technology stack
  • Write unit tests and maintain 90% code coverage
  • Build shared libraries, enhance existing applications with new features, and implement solutions designed with the Architecture team
  • Develop ticketing products including theme park tickets, water park tickets, special offers, annual passes, and special events for Disneyland and Walt Disney World

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s in computer science or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of experience and knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Understanding of basic security using latest runtimes for Node.js and TypeScript
  • Prior experience working on a fast-paced and high-performance team
  • Proficiency in writing quality code with unit tests
  • Contribution to the entire development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and releases
  • Experience collaborating on code, design documents, standards, testing, debugging, and workflows
  • Ability to support application code promotions and production deployments
  • Skill in conducting quality code reviews and providing constructive, actionable feedback
  • Experience with Git and GitHub
  • Experience with AI tools such as RAG, Cursor, Claude, GitHub MCP, and Atlassian MCP
  • Knowledge of Software Development Delivery Lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • Strong personal and communication skills for technical audiences
  • Ability to prioritize work, resolve conflicts, and manage delivery across multiple efforts
