About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide day-to-day and project-related support to the Labor Relations team
- Support site-specific collective bargaining agreements through project work, consultations, grievances, and resolution of labor-management issues
- Provide administrative support during union contract negotiations, collective bargaining, and arbitrations
- Assist with negotiation and arbitration logistics
- Support Labor Relations personnel with grievances, collective bargaining, and operations initiatives
- Conduct legal research for internal and external audiences
- Gather confidential information in response to inquiries
- Archive and maintain documents
- Support projects and initiatives
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
- Train as a backup to assist with coverage of administrative functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Full-time, six-month commitment from January 2027 through June 2027
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, or currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Must not have completed one year of continuous employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Fully available Monday to Friday for 40 hours each week for the duration of the internship
- Able to provide own housing in the Anaheim, California, or Orlando, Florida, areas
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
- High functional knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proactive and takes initiative
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage fluctuating priorities
- Able to multitask and handle changing situations
- Effective oral and written communication
- Ability to understand and follow complex, detailed technical instructions
- Bilingual preferred
- High functional knowledge of Workday, SharePoint, and Zoom preferred
- Junior or Senior year preferred
- Major or previous coursework in Industrial and Labor Relations or a related major preferred
- Must be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
